Opposition parties didn't seek meeting till 4 pm, venue they suggested not acceptable: ECI

Amid I.N.D.I.A bloc protest, EC said no opposition party procedurally sought a meeting until 4 pm on Tuesday. Delhi Police informed EC that 240 MPs wanted to meet at Parliament House Annexe, which couldn't be accepted, as such meetings are held at EC premises. However, EC offered to send its senior-most on-duty officer to receive their memorandum, but MPs declined.
