Opposition walks out of Kerala Assembly over gold theft probe

Proceedings in Kerala Assembly on Monday were marked by disorder as opposition MLAs walked out and protested against handling of Sabarimala gold theft investigation. Members of the opposition displayed placards within the Assembly, demanding the resignation of Devaswom Minister VN Vasavan. They alleged that the state government has not adequately addressed the issues surrounding the inquiry.
