Oracle lays off 21,000 employees in 12 months

American software giant Oracle revealed that it cut around 21,000 jobs in the past 12 months. In its latest annual regulatory filing, the company also said, "The adoption and deployment of AI technologies across our operations have resulted, and may continue to result, in reductions to our workforce." The reductions led to about $1.8 billion in restructuring costs, it added.
