More than 500 Oracle employees in Romania received emails around 6 am informing them they could be laid off, TOI reported. The company recently warned it could further reduce its workforce after cutting around 21,000 jobs over the past 12 months. Oracle also reportedly laid off around 400 employees in Romania in late 2025.
