Oracle to buy Cerner for $28 billion in its biggest acquisition ever
Oracle on Monday announced that it will buy electronic medical records company Cerner in an all-cash deal for approximately $28.3 billion, marking the enterprise software maker's biggest acquisition ever. Cerner shareholders will receive $95 per share, representing a premium of 5.8% to the company's closing price on Friday. The deal is expected to close in 2022, the company said.
