Oracle's Founder, Musk's friend, reveals $1 billion stake in Tesla

Larry Ellison, Oracle Co-founder and a long-time friend of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, has disclosed a $1 billion stake in the electric carmaker. The 74-year-old is the world's ninth-richest person with a net worth of $51.4 billion, according to Bloomberg. Ellison, who was recently appointed to Tesla board, said Tesla was his second-largest investment in October last year.
