Ormiston Academies Trust to ban mobile phones across all schools

Ormiston Academies Trust, one of England’s largest school networks, is banning mobile phones in its 42 schools, impacting around 35,000 students. This move aims to boost learning and mental health, as Chief Executive Tom Rees noted the link between phone use and student well-being issues. The ban will be rolled out gradually across its secondary and primary schools.
