Oscar-qualified 'Angh' filmed with actors cast from villages: Director

Filmmaker Theja Rio's debut feature, 'Angh', became the first Nagaland film to win at TIFF and directly qualify for the Oscars. Rio revealed that the film was mostly made with non-actors, as Nagaland's film industry remains "non-existent".
