Our per capita income has more than doubled to ₹1.97 lakh: FM

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman while presenting the Union Budget said India's per capita income has more than doubled to ₹1.97 lakh. Our current year's economic growth is estimated to be at 7%, the highest among all major economies, she added. She also said in the last 9 years, India's economy has moved from being the 10th to 5th largest globally.
