Our shows were reduced to 25 screens, people travelled 200-250 kms: 'Hanuman Ansh' director

Dr Vishal Chaturvedi, doctor-turned-debutant writer-filmmaker behind 'Hanuman Ansh', recalled the film's journey from 250 screens in first week to 1,200 screens in fourth week. Vishal said the film's screens were reduced to 25 to accommodate "big films" 'Awarapan 2' and 'Batwara 1947'. "Audience wanted to watch but there were no shows, so people travelled 200-250 kms and posted," he added.
