Ousted Nissan Chairman Ghosn's detention extended to Jan 11

The Tokyo District Court has extended the detention of ousted Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn by 10 days until January 11. Ghosn, whose detention was earlier extended to January 1, has been in jail since November 19 for allegedly understating his income. He was recently re-arrested over fresh allegations that he shifted over $16 million in personal losses to Nissan.
