Outbreak of deadly Ebola-like Marburg virus disease declared in Ghana

Ghana has declared the country's first outbreak of deadly Ebola-like Marburg virus disease after two cases were identified for the first time in the African nation. A 26-year-old male and a 51-year-old male passed away due to the virus in southern Ashanti region of Ghana. More than 90 contacts of the deceased patients have been identified and are being monitored.
