Outsourcing Manipur to HM Shah abdication of PM's duty: Jairam

Asking PM Narendra Modi to visit strife-torn Manipur, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said "outsourcing" Manipur to Home Minister Amit Shah is an "abdication" of prime ministerial responsibility. "PM Modi has...refused to visit Manipur even briefly ever since its agony began on May 3, 2023," Ramesh stated. His comments came after PM Modi greeted people of Manipur on its statehood day.
