Over ₹10 crore damage reported to schools amid France students' protests

Students in France have set fire to schools and vehicles while protesting teacher and staff shortages, overcrowded classrooms and run-down buildings. In the Île-de-France region, which includes Paris and its surrounding north-central area, damage to high schools exceeded €1 million (₹10.84 cr), with over 200 high schools disrupted. Fires also broke out at schools in Marseille, Nantes and Rouen.
