Over 10 lakh names deleted from draft voter list in Assam

Over 10.56 lakh voter names have been removed from Assam’s electoral rolls following a Special Revision exercise, less than six months before the state heads to Assembly elections. The draft rolls were published after house-to-house verification was held from November 22 to December 20. Assam has a total of over 2.51 crore voters, excluding 93,021 D-Voters or doubtful voters.
