Over 100 Chikkamagaluru school buses lack valid FCs

More than 100 school buses in Chikkamagaluru district are reportedly operating without valid Fitness Certificates (FCs). The Chikkamagaluru RTO and Tarikere Assistant RTO have issued notices to schools over expired certificates. Concerns have also been raised over mandatory GPS and speed governors. Officials said buses found operating without valid FCs during inspections are being seized.
