Over 100 cows die in UP villages in 2 days, probe ordered

Over 100 cows have reportedly died in villages of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh over the last two days, officials said. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Vijay Kumar said that an inquiry has been ordered into the incident. The cows died in pastures and were suspected to have either eaten poisonous grass or consumed polluted water, he added.
