Over 100 fall sick after drinking contaminated water in Gujarat

Over 100 suspected cases of typhoid were reported in Gujarat's Gandhinagar over past five days. Authorities have attributed outbreak to contamination of drinking water due to ongoing drainage repair work. Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi reviewed situation at Civil Hospital and met patients and their families. He said a special team of 22 doctors has been constituted to treat those admitted.
