Over 100 women footballers urge FIFA to cut ties with Saudi Aramco

Over 100 women footballers on Monday sent a letter to FIFA urging it to end its partnership with Saudi Arabia's oil and gas conglomerate Saudi Aramco. "Replace Saudi Aramco with alternative sponsors whose values align with gender equality [and] human rights," the letter read. Saudi Arabia has invested heavily in sports like soccer and golf in the last few years.
