Over 12 maggots removed from man's eye in France; pic surfaces

Doctors in France reported a rare case of tiny sheep bot fly larvae, also known as maggots, infesting the outer surface of a man's eyeball. Doctors removed more than a dozen maggots from outside the eyeball and surrounding tissue, according to the report in The New England Journal of Medicine. Doctors had to pluck the maggots out using forceps.
