Over 150 US hospital staff fired or quit for refusing vaccinations

Over 150 employees at US' Houston Methodist hospital were fired or resigned on Tuesday after they refused to get COVID-19 vaccination, a hospital spokesperson said. The hospital had asked its staff to receive the vaccine by June 7 or face two-week suspension. Earlier this month, a judge had dismissed a lawsuit against the hospital by employees opposing the vaccine mandate.
