Over 18,000 cases of monkeypox reported from 78 countries: WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Wednesday said that more than 18,000 cases of monkeypox have been reported in 78 countries so far. More than 70% of these cases have been reported in the European region, the WHO added. Notably, the WHO had declared the outbreak a global health emergency on Saturday.
