Global billionaire count reaches record 3,302 in 2025: Report

The number of billionaires jumped 13% to a record 3,302 people in 2025, according to the UBS Global Wealth Report 2026. Nearly one million people also became US dollar millionaires, equivalent to over 2,600 new millionaires every day. There were "more millionaires than ever, everywhere" last year, the report said, adding that US accounted for nearly half of this growth.
