Over 200 economists issue 88-word warning over AI replacing millions of jobs

More than 200 economists have issued an 88-word warning that artificial intelligence could trigger widespread job losses if governments and businesses fail to prepare. In an open letter titled We Must Act Now, they said, "AI may become radically more powerful over the next 10 years." They added that its economic impact could surpass that of the Industrial Revolution.
