Over 2,000-year-old tombs discovered in Egypt

Three rock-cut tombs, each over 2,000 years old, have been discovered in northeast Egypt. Officials from the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities said the tombs, which are located in Al-Kamin Al-Sahrawi near Samalut city, contain clay fragments and multiple sarcophagi of various sizes. The tombs span the 27th Dynasty and the period of Greco-Roman Ptolemaic rule.
