Over 250 kites showcased at Tamil Nadu's int'l kite festival

Over 250 kites were showcased at Tamil Nadu's 5th international kite festival held in Mamallapuram over three days, the state tourism department said. More than 30 kite flyers from Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and India showcased their kites. The festival was attended by over 40,000 visitors and featured large-scale kite displays and musical performances to boost tourism in the area.
