Over 28 lakh new voters added to Maharashtra electoral roll

As per the revised voter list of Maharashtra published on January 31, over 28 lakh new voters have been added to the electoral roll. Of these, 11.9 lakh are in the age group of 18-19 years, an official said. The total number of eligible voters for Lok Sabha elections in the state is now 8.7 crore, the official added.
