Over 3,600 toxins from food packaging detected in humans: Study

A study has found 3,601 chemicals from food packaging in human bodies, with around 100 deemed "high concern" for health. This includes PFAS, known for various health issues, and bisphenol A, a hormone disruptor banned from baby bottles. Additionally, phthalates, linked to infertility, were also found, while the effects of oligomers, another plastic byproduct detected, remain poorly understood.
