Over 4,600 Indians deported from US in last 17 months: MEA

More than 4,600 Indians have been deported from the US in the last 17 months, the Ministry of External Affairs said. The US deported 3,567 Indians in 2025 and has deported a total of 1,076 Indian nationals so far this year, spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal told reporters. India closely verifies the list of deportations by the US, Jaiswal further said.
