Over 40 lakh pilgrims have undertaken Char Dham Yatra this year

Over 40 lakh pilgrims have visited the four shrines of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri so far this year. According to Uttarakhand CM's office, 27,789 pilgrims travelled to Char Dham on October 14. Out of this, Kedarnath witnessed highest footfall of 11,309 pilgrims, followed by 6,644 pilgrims in Badrinath, 2,406 in Gangotri and 3,290 in Yamunotri.
