Over 400 Pak-linked handles pushed fake content on July 20 CJP protest: Police

Delhi Police has identified nearly 400 social media accounts allegedly operated from Pakistan for spreading misinformation about the July 20 CJP protest at Jantar Mantar. The handles circulated AI-generated content, deepfake videos and morphed photos. Police urged citizens to verify news before sharing, adding that many of these accounts were active during Operation Sindoor in May 2025 last year.
