Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched a crackdown on "illegal" madrasas operating in the state. In the last 15 days, authorities have sealed over 52 "unregistered and unlawfully run" madrasas across the state. In February, the authorities had identified over 200 madrassas operating without registration, with Udham Singh Nagar recording the highest number at 129, ABP News reported.
