Over 7 lakh Indian students went abroad for studies in 2022: Govt

The government on Friday informed the Lok Sabha that over seven lakh Indian students went abroad to pursue higher education in 2022. As compared to 2021, the number of students who left India saw a 68% rise in 2022. MoS Dr Bharati Pawar said, "As informed by...MEA, approximately 1.2 million Indian students are studying abroad, including all streams of education."
