Over 77,000 seats vacant after 1st round of FYJC admissions in Pune

As many as 77,130 seats remained vacant after completion of the first regular round of admissions for first-year junior college (FYJC) or Class 11 in the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad regions. In the first round, only 31,700 students were admitted out of 1.03 lakh students who registered online for the admission process. The second round of admissions started on Friday.
