Over 90K Pak soldiers surrendered to India in 1971 War

The Pakistan Army signed the Instrument of Surrender at the end of the 1971 war, and over 90,000 of its soldiers had become Indian prisoners of war. India achieved a decisive victory over Pakistan in the war and established the new nation of Bangladesh. The prisoners were later released by India after the signing of the Simla Agreement in 1972.
