Over half of long posts on LinkedIn are AI-generated, finds study

As of October 2024, 54% of long-form posts on LinkedIn are estimated to be AI-generated, according to an analysis by AI detection startup Originality AI. The release of ChatGPT at the end of 2022 likely led to a 189% surge in AI usage in LinkedIn posts. The startup analysed 8,795 LinkedIn long-form posts from January 2018 to October 2024.
