Owaisi, Opposition move SC against EC's SIR exercise

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi moved the Supreme Court challenging the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi and Kharge also petitioned the apex court alleging procedural irregularities, seeking an independent audit of voter databases and a retired SC judge-led committee to examine the revision exercise.
