Owaisi asks Rijiju to intervene as mosque near PM's residence gets eviction notice

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has sought Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju's urgent intervention as the 125-year-old Race Course Masjid near Prime Minister's residence in Delhi faces a demolition threat. "It's the Minister's job to resolve the matter, since the Delhi Waqf Board hasn't been constituted since 2023," he said. This comes days after the mosque received an eviction notice.
