Owaisi blames Congress for SC denying bail to Umar, Sharjeel

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi blamed Congress for Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam being denied bail by the Supreme Court. "The Manmohan Singh-led government, with P Chidambaram as Home Minister, added the definition of terrorism [to the UAPA]," he said. "I was the only one who said that Section 15 would be used against Muslims, tribals, and Dalits," he said.
