Owaisi says 'Jai Palestine' while taking oath as Lok Sabha MP

AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi, who on Tuesday took oath as a Lok Sabha MP, ended his oath with chants of "Jai Bhim", "Jai Telangana" and "Jai Palestine". This caused an uproar in the Parliament, with several MPs objecting specifically to the "Jai Palestine" slogan. Owaisi won the Hyderabad constituency for the fifth consecutive time in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
