Owner & manager of Kolkata hotel where 14 died in fire arrested

Owner and manager of Rituraj hotel, where 14 people died after a fire broke out, were arrested on Thursday morning. The hotel had violated almost every possible safety norm, and none of the victims died from burns but instead from asphyxiation, Times Now reported. "None of the firefighting mechanisms at the property were in working condition," a volunteer firefighter said.
