Owner of Delhi hotel where fire killed 21 filed licence renewal plea amid rescue op: Report

Jay Mishra, owner of Flourish Stay B&B, was submitting application on Municipal Corporation of Delhi portal seeking renewal of 'Tea and Snacks stall (without seats)' licence as rescue operations were underway, as per a report. The fire, which killed 21, broke out at around 8:30 am and MCD received renewal request between 9:30 am and 10 am, an official said.
