Owner of US-based firm donates entire company worth $3 billion to fight climate crisis

The billionaire owner of a US-based sportswear brand is giving away ownership of the brand that started some 50 years ago to a trust that will use its profit to fight the climate crisis. The company, Patagonia, is reportedly worth about $3 billion. "We'll use the wealth Patagonia creates to protect the source of all wealth," said owner Yvon Chouinard.
