Owners took no precautions during repair: Delhi police on Satya Niketan collapse

Delhi Police, in its report to the Delhi HC, said that the owners of the Satya Niketan PG did not engage, hire, or seek advice from any qualified engineer regarding the basement repairs. This comes after the five-storey building collapsed on September 6, claiming seven lives. The report also stated that the owners had not obtained permission for land-use conversion.
