Owning a home is the top status symbol today: Rob Henderson

Social scientist Rob K. Henderson said on the podcast that for people under 40, owning a home is the biggest status signal, as it’s “so rare” now. In the 1970s, couples married in their early 20s and bought homes, but now it’s “so inordinately expensive”, he said. He ranked property first, then marriage, education, luxury goods, and money last.
