Oxford, Serum Institute launch first trial for new Ebola vaccine

The University of Oxford and the Serum Institute of India have launched the world's first human trial of the ChAdOx1 BDBV vaccine against the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola, which currently has no approved vaccine. The Phase I study will assess safety and immune response in 50 healthy volunteers, marking a major milestone in global outbreak preparedness.
