OYO's valuation now more than combined value of Taj, Oberoi hotels

Hotel aggregator and chain OYO Rooms' valuation of $5 billion after raising $1 billion funding has surpassed the combined valuation of Indian Hotels and EIH, valued at $2.05 billion and $1.2 billion, respectively. While Indian Hotels runs the Taj group of hotels, EIH owns the chain of Oberoi hotels. The fundraise also made OYO India's second-most valuable startup after Paytm.
