PAC flags 89-month SC scholarship delays, states skip hearing

India's Public Accounts Committee found SC students waiting up to 89 months for Post-Matric and 48 months for Pre-Matric scholarship payments. Some received nothing, while ineligible beneficiaries were paid. Chief secretaries of 6 poor-performing states were summoned but didn't appear. PAC has flagged this as contempt and will alert the Speaker.
