Padma Bhushan awardee painter Laxman Pai passes away at 95 in Goa

Renowned artist and Padma Bhushan awardee Laxman Pai passed away at his residence in Goa on Sunday at the age of 95. He was also a recipient of Padma Shri, Nehru Award, and Lalit Kala Akademi Award. Goa CM Pramod Sawant tweeted, "Goa has lost a gem today. We will always remember his immense contribution in the field of art."
