Padma Bhushan awardee SP Oswal cheated of ₹7 crore by cybercrime gang, 2 held

Punjab Police have busted a gang of inter-state cyber fraudsters who allegedly cheated Padma Bhushan awardee SP Oswal of ₹7 crore. The Vardhman Group Chairman transferred the amount after one fraudster apparently posed as a CBI official, showed him a forged arrest warrant and threatened him with digital arrest. Police have arrested two people and recovered ₹5.25 crore so far.
